London's Necro Deathmort follow up from last year's EP1 12" with the logically nomenclatured EP2. Where EP1 was an exercise in cosmic electronic experimentation, EP2 explores the heavier end of the NDM sound in what is fair to say a crushing behemoth of a record. EP2 features echo-drenched, eerie, pummeling Doom, raw and heavy 16-rpm black metal, desolate electronic drone, and a sorrowful creeping dread John Carpenter-style drum pounder that climaxes into a bleak nothingness.
