Reissue of Monarch's 2007 LP, originally released on Throne Records. Two songs clocking around 20 minutes each, starting off where "Speak Of The Sea" left off. Very similar in sound and shape, this feels like a continuation. An apocalyptical, suffocating and terrifying sound emanating from their impossible-tempo war drums, and from the ripping throat of the warrior queen. Nonetheless Monarch have been compared to the legends of this genre (Corrupted, Burning Witch, Sunn O))), etc.), and record after record, Monarch are proving these comparisons are accurate and true.
